Look at this adorable box Marji has to share with us today :)  and she made a super simple and cute little mini album to go inside.

Today I am showing you the super sweet gingerbread house box.

Lot's of things can fit in this box. I made a simple book to place in it to help save those holiday memories.

For the book I cut 6 pieces of pattern paper into 4 by 8 inch pieces an folded them in half with the plain sides together. I then used my Cinch to punch holes in the open side. I also cut 2 pieces of red paper 4 by 4 inches for the front and back cover. I used my marker in my cutting machine to write the title and filled it in with glitter glue.

Here is the cute box with the book inside. You could add a gift card and some candy as well, or jewelry. :)

This box was a lot of fun to put together and really went together fast. My machine was acting up so I had to cut a few things over but other than that, I would have been done in about an hour, not bad at all.

Fall Fry Treat Box ~ Mary Ellen

You could fill these with ~ yummy baked goods or candy or how about some manicure items even or anything else you can think of to give someone.  Ooh I know, how about some Crafting goodies!!!  How cute would that be!!!

I made this one in winter blues with a snowflake positioned in the circle of the band,

just to show off the wrap around band that comes with this file

 Fall Fry Treat Box 

I used K & Company and DCWV papers, embossed the leaves and the center of the sunflower, inked all the edges, and applied the sunflower and pumpkin to the box with pop dots to give it dimension. These boxes are so quick and easy to make I can imagine them being decorated for all sorts of occassions. How cute would they look as thank you gifts for a birthday party!!

Today I get to show you 2 different interactive cards. I have so much fun making this type of card. I really get into a rut at times doing simple fold and simple layered cards. I love making cards that challenge me and take me longer than 10 minutes to complete.

 

The first card is a Baby Bottle Waterfall Card. This is an amazing birth announcement card. I printed out pictures of my daughter while we were still in the hospital. She is 3 now but I really wish I had this file after she was born, everyone would have gotten one of these cards.

I'm going to show you each layer as it opens, this is a picture of her foot in my dad's hand. It's hard to believe she was so tiny. We couldn't find socks that would stay on her feet, she would kick them off!

 This is a picture of her asleep in my mother's arms, so precious!

And here she is all dressed, ready to go home. I bought this outfit before we even knew she was a girl. I just knew, my husband thought I was nuts but I knew, I just knew.

 

And inside I cut the second bottle that comes in the file and made it into a book mark. I printed a big picture of her ready to come home and put it on one side.

And on the other side I put her birth information. I think this is a great keepsake for grandparents and Aunts. I know I'll use this book mark!

My second card is a Graduation Slider Card. This was a lot of fun to make and the file comes with written instructions that are super easy to follow so don't be intimidated!

This is what the card looks like with the slider pulled up. I attached the ribbon to give the graduate the hint there's more to the card.

And here is what it looks like when they receive it. I sprayed the front of the card with shimmer mist to add some pizaz and added a yellow gem stone to the tassel on the hat.

I hope you like my cards today, they were so much fun to put together.

I used dcwv and recollection cardstock for both boxes. some embossing on the gingerbreadhouse box for the snow areas. these boxes are so easy and quick to put together. They would be great for quick gift to co workers or classmates.

Santa Box ~ Tammy

Tammy has made the adorable NEW Santa Box file for us today.  I just love how she did the beard and mustache with the
Liquid Appliqué.  This is such a cute file!!!

Here is what Tammy had to say:

For my latest project I have done the Santa Box. It can be found at http://www.creativekuts2.com/item_162/Santa-Box.htm

I used a DecoArt Glistening Snow Writer on the fur of the hat and the pompoms. I used Liquid Appliqué on the beard, moustache and his eyebrows so they have some dimension added to them. I just used a little bit of ribbon to tie it at the top of the box. These are a quick little box to put together.
