Small Holiday Candy Boxes 2 ~ Marji

Well, did you survive the craziness of Christmas? Do you still have a few parties to attend?
I do, So here are a few more treat boxes you can whip up to pass out some goodies.
You can really fit a lot in these cuties! I used a more winter themed paper so they could be an after Christmas gift too.
My little buddy here is holding one of my favorite Little Debbie snacks, I actually buy these and hide them in my desk so I don't have to share, horrible aren't I? And guess what, I don't care! HA, I love them that much!!!
Love how he turned out, his little face is so cute and sweet.
All the candy that's scattered around in the picture above fit inside the box. I made him so his face is on the "back" of the box to hide the treats a little for a surprise!
The snowman is made so he faces front and his goodies are visible right off the bat, here you can see he gave up the snack cake, it barely made it through this photo shoot by the way, I had to open it to get the air out and the scent hit my nose and I almost caved! lol
I used my Peachy Keen face to do him up.

Thanks for stopping by today! Enjoy your day and don't eat too much candy and cookies...who am I kidding, we all are probably heading for a sugar coma!

Candy House ~ Mary Ellen

Look at this adorable Candy House that Mary Ellen has made for us today.

Words from Mary Ellen:
Oh what a fun project to make for holiday gift giving. This candy house is a very nice size to hold a large gift but can be sized to hold just a few pieces of candy or a whole bag full !! I used textured card stock to create this house and used my xyron sticker maker to adhere the candy to the house, the roof was embossed using my cuttlebug. As you can see this is a view of the back of the house where that sneaky little Santa snuck up to the chimney, looks like he is having some trouble up there !!!

Small Candy Boxes ~ Marji

13 days until Christmas!!!
Today I am sharing some new files from Creative Kuts 2, These super cute treat boxes can be filled with lots of different things to make some one special feel extra special!
Now, since I'm a rebel (snort, lol) I did the boxes 2 different ways. Mrs. Cheryl intended the file to be made the way cute little mousie here is shown.

And as you can see it works both ways, the Elf just is a little more secretive with his treats, lol

Best buds, waiting to be filled with yummy treats.

And finally, my initial mistake that ended up working out too ;)
I hope you enjoyed looking as much as I enjoyed making.

Now for a special project by our very special Guest Designer Jo-Anne Moreau Bougie:

the file is called BFF and can be found HERE

Sewing has always been my passion for as long as I can remember. Coming from a big family of 11 my mother used to make most of our clothes. It was her passion as well. By the time I was 9 years old I picked the hobby up and continued through the years making clothes for my own two children and now for my 3 little granddaughters..
I was approached by Cheryl to see if I would be interested in taking one of her files and using it as an applique on an outfit combining my 2 favorite hobbies into one.... I took the challenge... With Christmas fast approaching I thought this would look so cute on a little red jumper created by myself.. So needless to say I killed two birds with one stone.. I cut out most of the applique with my cutting machine by fusing interfacing on the backside of the fabric.... Pressed it to the dress completed with an overcast stitch by hand... I'm also thinking of taking some of these files and placing them on baby bibs..

Here is my little granddaughter modeling the file BFF or BSF

So why not head on over to the Creative Kuts store and purchase a file and start
today on a project of your own..

Gingerbread House Box ~ Marji

Look at this adorable box Marji has to share with us today :)  and she made a super simple and cute little mini album to go inside.

Words from Marji:

Today I am showing you the super sweet gingerbread house box.

Lot's of things can fit in this box. I made a simple book to place in it to help save those holiday memories.

For the book I cut 6 pieces of pattern paper into 4 by 8 inch pieces an folded them in half with the plain sides together. I then used my Cinch to punch holes in the open side. I also cut 2 pieces of red paper 4 by 4 inches for the front and back cover. I used my marker in my cutting machine to write the title and filled it in with glitter glue.

Here is the cute box with the book inside. You could add a gift card and some candy as well, or jewelry. :)

This box was a lot of fun to put together and really went together fast. My machine was acting up so I had to cut a few things over but other than that, I would have been done in about an hour, not bad at all.

The box can be found by clicking on this link if you want your own file.

Thanks for stopping by, please let me know what you think.

Fall Fry Treat Box ~ Mary Ellen

Today we have some special treat boxes from Mary Ellen
You could fill these with ~ yummy baked goods or candy or how about some manicure items even or anything else you can think of to give someone.  Ooh I know, how about some Crafting goodies!!!  How cute would that be!!!

This one shows the wrap around Band

I made this one in winter blues with a snowflake positioned in the circle of the band,
just to show off the wrap around band that comes with this file
I used K & Company and DCWV papers, embossed the leaves and the center of the sunflower, inked all the edges, and applied the sunflower and pumpkin to the box with pop dots to give it dimension. These boxes are so quick and easy to make I can imagine them being decorated for all sorts of occassions. How cute would they look as thank you gifts for a birthday party!!
